In certain countries, it is required by law for the phone operator to identify every owner of their SIMs. This law applies to everyone, local residents as well as vacationers.
An image upload URL is attached in your order confirmation email for you to send your passport info securely to us. Alternatively, you can email us the image directly.
Once received, we will pass it on to the operator and as soon as your SIM card is activated, the passport image is removed from our system.
Rest assured, your passport details are stored securely and they are never used for any other purpose!
Countries where proof of ID is required include China, Spain, Turkey, South Africa, India, Greece, Sri Lanka, the UAE and Kenya.
