Your phone can’t be locked to any operator: Phones that were purchased on contract are usually locked. Not sure? Call your provider to double check! Sometimes they will unlock your phone for free.
- Get the right frequency: In Europe, you will get the best experience if you use a phone that supports the European 3G frequency (2100Mhz). In the US, your phone will have to cover the 850Mhz and 1900Mhz GSM frequencies. Not sure? Try searching for your device specifications online to find out.
Correct SIM size needs to be ordered: We can provide you with any size SIM to make sure it works with your phone. The current sizes are nano (iPhone 5 or iPad Mini), micro (the most popular size, for most iPads, iPhone 4 and 4s, Samsung Galaxy S3/4, and many others) or standard (Wireless routers and dongles, as well as some tablets and older phones, including the iPhone 3).
